I love these!
Made from silky food-grade, hand silk-screened silicone, the mats won’t crease or rip.
For parents who live a design-inspired lifestyle, the simple, clean design provides optimal functionality with a minimalist aesthetic. Nurturing the inner artist in every child, the mats are doodle-friendly with the use of washable or dry erase markers—save paper/save trees, just clean off with a damp cloth or rinse. Color again and again.
Hey people! I may be a little late on posting this … however there’s still time!

Brent Bambury of CBC Radio will host a lineup on the Little Paper Main Stage that celebrates the variety of our city’s music scene: from indie-pop darlings, Hooded Fang, 11 year old Russell Rae Wellner, zany jazzers, Rambunctious, and under-aged rockers Eleven Toes, to the velvet tones of Oldies 990 and old-time-twang-with-a-modern-twist of Bellwoods Trinity and Hotcha!

The P’kolino Klick is the perfect desk for children ages 3-6. With an ample working space for paper, books and puzzles, it is ideal for project based learning or the budding artist. The padded seat is an optimal 12 inches high with enough storage under the seat for the most prolific Picasso.
For Moms and Dads the true beauty of this form is revealed when the little-one’s play is done. With the works conveniently stored under the seat the entire unit closes to cleverly minimize, and thus maximize the home aesthetic.
These eco-eggs colouring kits are made using natural plant, fruit and vegetable extracts. This kit includes three natural dyes, a color chart for creating 6 colors and instructions for coloring eggs. Bonus – printable activity sheets with eco-eggs creature cutouts!

So it’s only taken us how many years to start blogging. I’m pretty sure it has everything to do with how old our boys are now. Almost six and three and a bit. There’s a level of freedom you get once your youngest one reaches a certain age!
Anyways … here we are!
Well I have to say – I was pretty excited when I was contacted by The Marilyn Denis Show. They wanted to know if I was interested in helping put together a gift for none other than Rocket Man himself ELTON JOHN! Having pursued at one time a career in rock’n'roll (which I plan to ignite again with my boys, once our basement is complete!), I was all over it!
Well Elton and his husband David Furnish (from Toronto) have a two month old son Zachary. I decided it would be great to go with all Canadian products and as many of them as possible made in Canada and organic aswell.
I didn’t end up going to the taping (busy busy!) but I did spend the previous morning at the studio putting together the gift basket – the basket itself being the Monte Ninna Nanna bassinet in charcoal grey with white base. It kind of reminded me of Elton’s big chunky white frames. I’l l do a run down of all the items in the next post.
Well I have to say – it was fun! Marilyn was super nice. Thanks to Roz! You are awesome!
